Welcome to the
Job Winslow Chapter
of the
National Society
Daughters of the American Revolution

The Job Winslow Chapter, one of 54 Michigan DAR chapters, is located in Traverse City. Our membership, currently 80 strong, is spread throughout Grand Traverse, Leelanau, Benzie, and Antrim counties. Our meetings usually are held in the Traverse City Elk's Club on the third Saturday of the month, April through November, at 11:00. Please see our meeting schedule on this web site.

Our members enthusiastically embrace the education, patriotic endeavor, and historical preservation objectives of the National Society. Projects include sponsoring local students for DAR Good Citizen, American History Essay contests, and DAR scholarships. Members serve the veteran patients at Tendercare Nursing Home, Traverse City, as well as at the VA hospitals and Landstuhl Regional Medical Center in Landstuhl, Germany.

Members participate in the Cherry Festival, Memorial Day, and Flag Day activities in our communities as well as hold genealogical workshops. We have an enthusiastic group of members who thoroughly enjoy genealogy and helping prospective members find their ancestors.

Guests are welcome. Please contact Sandie McClain, Regent, sgmoct@msn.com
